Jessika Lawless, RN, BSN, MICN, is a Certified Forensic Legal Nurse Consultant (CFLNC) with 13 years of frontline clinical nursing experience spanning Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Trauma, Skilled Nursing, Mental Health, Memory Care, Wound Care, Sepsis, Cardiac Care, and Neurology.

Jessika's clinical career has taken her across some of the most demanding care environments in nursing — from high-acuity emergency departments and Level I trauma centers to skilled nursing facilities and behavioral health units. As a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), she developed a sharp command of rapid clinical assessment, emergency protocols, and the kind of split-second decision-making that defines critical care. That breadth of experience gives her an unusually wide lens when reviewing medical records — she understands not just what the documentation says, but what it means clinically, and what it should have said.

After more than a decade at the bedside, Jessika recognized a consistent gap in medical-legal cases: attorneys were navigating complex clinical facts without a trusted clinical voice in their corner. Expert witnesses were expensive, often unavailable for early case strategy, and not always focused on the practical needs of litigation. She founded Precision Medical Legal Review to fill that gap — providing attorneys with direct, personal access to a seasoned nurse clinician who can analyze records, identify deviations from the standard of care, and translate medical complexity into clear legal strategy.
